Accountable Talk

I love to use accountable talk in my classroom. This is a teaching technique in which students are responsible for their learning. Don't you just love to hear learning going on in your classroom? These prompts allow students to participate in discussions with the teacher and their classmates. It's also a wonderful tool to assess student comprehension.
